Planning business and leisure travel is the responsibility of a travel agent, sometimes known as a travel manager. They are responsible for advising clients on where to go, planning itineraries, and making hotel and flight reservations for them.

Tourist businesses, large resorts, and other travel locations frequently employ travel agents. They may carry out a variety of different activities in their line of work, depending on the particulars of their employment, such as researching travel possibilities, giving clients options, and making sure their clients have everything they need both before and during their trip. Some people work alone, while others collaborate in groups.

Primary duties

  • Inform clients on the best modes of transportation, departure times, pricing, and lodgings.
